Current Board Members:

Kristine Harris (Board Chair) Born and raised in Iowa, Kristine moved to Jackson in 1992 after a work trip made her realize that the Tetons was where her heart was meant to be. The majority of Kristine’s work experience has been in hotel marketing and sales- her current position being DOSM of the Homewood Suites by Hilton. Kristine and her husband, Adam, have two children and enjoy traveling, escaping the busy summer season in the family camper, and spending the winters downhill skiing.

Stacey Grohne (Vice Chair) Stacey has lived in Teton County for 14 years, along with her husband and three children, and has taught health, math and science at Jackson Hole Community School for the past nine years. In teaching health, Stacey values the space she has to talk to students about the issues they struggle with academically and (more importantly) socially. From the beginning of her teaching career, it was clear to Stacey that there is a need for additional support resources for young people, specifically girls, in today’s world; Having children of her own further motivated her to engage in the community in a way that will ensure a positive adolescent experience for as many young women as possible.

Cindy Bartz (Secretary) Cindy grew up in a close-knit community in San Antonio and earned a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M and an MSW from University of Texas at Austin. Cindy spent the first five years of her career with Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Houston and Northern Virginia before moving into the public sector as the Director of Community Development for the Housing Authority in Austin. As a new mom, Cindy moved to Los Angeles with her family and shifted into part-time positions running Sunday school programs. Fast-forward 15 years — with a 16 year-old son, 11 year-old daughter and 4-year-old labrador — Cindy and her family are thrilled to call Jackson Hole home. Since moving to Jackson, Cindy has happily returned to her social work roots, putting her grant writing and nonprofit management skills to use as an independent contractor with several local organizations.

Carrie Kirkpatrick (Raising Girls Program Director) Carrie has a keen interest in helping women and girls achieve success. She has a degree in Human Development from Boston College and an avid interest in psychology and mental well being.  Carrie worked in equity research and management at her family’s firm, Friess Associates, and left after helping facilitate the sale of the business to Affiliated Managers Group. While focusing on her young family she served in several capacities on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, including serving as Chair in 2011. In 2010, she started Raising Girls, a program for parents, caregivers and teachers to inspire thought and dialogue that helps girls thrive. She is a  Certified Narrative Enneagram teacher and works with individuals, families, small businesses and non-profits to explore and implement the transformational wisdom of the Enneagram. Carrie loves hiking, cross country skiing, podcasts, reading and dancing and has two teenage daughters. She currently serves on the Board of GAP! Girls Actively Participating and Climb Wyoming.
